Summary: This session is aimed at IPB students and aims to:

  • Promote sexual and reproductive health literacy;
  • Clarify questions;
  • Create a safe space for sharing and information.

During the session, the following topics will be covered:

  • Contraceptive methods (understanding the different types available, how they work, their effectiveness, and how to choose the most appropriate one);
  • Sexually transmitted infections (STIs) (main risks, prevention methods, warning signs, and the importance of screening);
  • Abortion (legal framework in Portugal, access to health services, and clarification of common questions);
  • Medication effects (impact of certain medications on sexual and reproductive health, including interactions with contraceptive methods);
  • Interactive activity (the session will also include a brief practical activity to engage participants and encourage dialogue).

This session will be an excellent opportunity for students to ask questions, demystify "difficult" topics, and become better prepared to make informed decisions about their health.
