Summary: This session aims to help participants correctly complete their IRS tax return, avoiding errors and taking full advantage of available tax benefits. During the session, topics such as deadlines and obligations, income categories, deductions and tax benefits will be covered, as well as a practical guide for completing and submitting the return on the Tax Portal. The workshop includes theoretical explanations, practical demonstrations, and a space to clarify questions. It is intended for anyone who wants to better understand the IRS tax return process and ensure accurate and efficient completion.
Trainer: Natacha Silva holds a PhD in Applied Economics from the University of Santiago de Compostela, a Diploma of Advanced Studies (DEA) in Economics, specializing in Public Finance, and a Bachelor's degree in Management. She has been a university professor in Management and Economics since 2012. She has held positions in Management, including: Quality Director; Financial Director; Logistics Manager; and Trainer. She is the author and co-author of articles published in international conferences and double-blind peer-reviewed journals. She is currently an integrated member of UNIAG – Applied Management Research Unit, and a collaborating member of REMIT – Research on Economics, Management and Information Technologies. She also serves as a reviewer for peer-reviewed journals. She recently developed her research on projects receiving competitive funding from the European Union and is a member of the COST network.
